    '69 fan blade(s)?

Very early production '69 427/390hp with a/c---- what fan blade(s).
Did any early '69's use late '68 fans or fan clutches?
    Thanks,
    G.

Your application used a 7 blade GM #3955182 fan blade assembly. Being a very early 1969, is it possible that it might have used the 5 blade GM #3888366 fan blade assembly used for 1968 L-36 with C-60? Yes, I'd say it's possible.

1968 fan clutches for any particular application were generally the same as 1969 for the same application.

      Thanks Joe.
Bty, I received a phone call a couple of weeks ago from a fellow member stating that you might want an oil pump I have. He was supposed to get back to me on some '66 parts also. Have not heard back?
Any of this ring a bell?

Yes, it does. It's the 65-66 pump I'm interested in. The body of the pump should have casting number 3860370. I don't actually need the pump, itself, though. I'd just like to have some good photos of it as well as measurements of the length of the gears and the OD of the gears. Which engine variant (L-36, L-72) would be helpful. Also, the coil count, length, and OD of the relief spring.

If you don't want to get involved in this dis-assembly and measurement, you could send me the pump, I'll do it and send it back to you. I'll pay shipping both ways.

          Joe,
Send your address and I'll get it out to you.
