1984 batteries?

I did a search and it seems the last dialogue on this topic was about a year ago. Does anyone have any updated information re reproduction batteries/labels for the '84 or any other details confirming the color of the case? (early vs late production) My original for VIN #4935 was replaced under warranty in July of '83 and although I thought it was black cannot say for sure. I was able to secure some stickers making for a 'correct' '84 oil filter and now I'm on a mission to do the same for the battery.

Get in contact with Dave Brown (45938). Dave is a McClellen Award winner and has done some really good research on early C4 batteries and labels. What's more, he does a fine job on OEM label reproduction. Check it out.
