    Pulley, oil filler cap finish

Has anyone found a suitable rattle-can finish that approximates the dull, dark green phosphate coating found on some water pump & crankshaft pulleys & oil fill cap?

    Thanks in advance.

That is black oxide which is NOT an organic material of any sort.

Black Oxide it. Anyone that pretends to put paint on them is usually hiding the blue that sneaks out from under the rivet of the 57 - 59 oil cap

I have a place that can do it, but oil caps are tricky.
