I have mine glass-blasted and then 2 days in "food-oil" and they are like new and they are 100% protected against dirt aso.

Jorn, When you state "food-oil" are you referring to something like vegetable oil?

thanks for clearing that up. I have a pair of '69 that need to be refinished since someone attempted to polish them.
