    Knock off cones rattling

What is the best product to use to keep my Corvette America reproduction 63-64 knock off cones from rattling? I am considering clear silicone caulk or double sided foam tape. Any suggestions that will solve the problem, leave a clean appearance and hold up when I remove and reinstall wheels multiple times would be greatly appreciated.

I origially used Permatex 2 non-hardening form a gasket but it is dark gray and really sloppy looking.

    Thanks,
    Tim

A couple of thick bead's of clear silicone caulking/sealer spaced apart a couple of inches around the interior circumference of the cone has worked well on my older '63 Western Wheels KO's.

When I had repro KO's on my 63, I used double sided tape on every other/every third "spoke" behind the cones. Worked well, and wasn't as "messy" and gooey as silicone.

Some foam tape like used on truck caps. Tape it to the cone. I did not dream that up on my own. The prior owner used it on the original KH wheels.

I've used double sided foam tape for 25 years....
