69 door mirror mount screws

Does anyone know what size the two machine screws/bolts are that hold the mirror mount to the door?

I want to run a tap through them to clean them up but I'm not sure which size to use and I can't find the old screws right now. For what it's worth it looks like the aft screw hole is one size bigger...does that make sense?
