    54 water pump base gasket

    Shoud the gasket completely cover the two holes where the passanger car pump would utilize? The gasket isnt cut fot it. The freeze plug is out and I want to be sure if the gasket can cover the two holes or should the gasket be cut. This is a 54 passenger car block retrofitted. Thanks folks!!!
