54 Rear End Bearings

Does anybody have the bearing numbers for the rear differential bearings, specifically the carrier bearings and the pinion bearings? Would like to try and buy at a industrial supply, lower cost. Also, anybody have a pinion seal part number also?

Boz, if you have the GM numbers you can go to NAPA, Carquest, etc website and get the cross reference.

BTW, Terry send you the pictures of Dipstick's Metro?

1971 Parts book shows the following for numbers...
Front Pinion Bearing, GM #954780, ND5306W x 1730A
Rear Pinion Bearing, GM#125630, Hyatt 1506
Carrier Bearings, GM#127861, Hyatt 11360, race is Hyatt 11360Z
Does not list a front seal, but Corvette Central does.

Tried NAPA, they do not cross-reference these numbers, "nothing found".

It appears the front pinion bearing is still available from GM, I'll call them today.
I'll also call local bearing supplier and see if they can cross-reference to newer bearings.

Yes, I did get the pictures Dickie. Quite a car. I'm jealous!
