Mac's Wheel Nets

On my trailer post I saw someone uses these. They look very nice and easy to use. Is there a downside? Are they as safe as the usual tie downs?

Mac's products and their tech service is the best. Their tie down products are superior to others on the market.

Call me old fashioned, but I like to tie down a vehicle where the body cannot move. I use 2" straps with the T hooks. I drive the vehicle half way up the ramp and either get out my self, or have someone else insert the hook in the frame corner reinforcement. Throw the straps under the car, drive in the trailer, and the straps are out the back. I then go to the front and hook the T hook into the slot on the end of the frame rail. I cross the straps, tie the front down first, then go back to the rear, cross, and tighten the rear straps. It is easier to tighten the rear straps than the front.

I have hauled cars, trucks, and machinery all over the country and have never had a problem tying down this way.
