Crank Case vent tube styles?

I have two styles of Crank Case vent tubes for 68' L68. One tube has a texture over the entire tube that is a bumpy pattern and a GM logo + part number printed. The other tube is smooth with the exception of raised ribs running the length-no part numbers. What style would be more accurate to original for this engine? Both have the 90 degree elbow and same length.

This is what I have on my car. I can't say with 100% certainty it is original, but it was a one owner car that was relatively untouched when I bought it.

Hi John, great to hear from you.
That is the one I have on my car now as well which I like over the plane one. Did you have your car judged-curious how this part may have scored.
The pic is of the other style I mentioned - not sure if it 68-maybe earlier?

I've never had my car judged but I see no reason why it should receive a deduction.

I can't think of another engine out side of 68-69 tri-powers that would use the 90 degree elbow vent tube. The tube could easily have been a multiple sourced part or a service replacement.

Send me a picture of what you did with that shroud when you are done. I want to see the silk purse you turned it into.
