Happy 50th Birthday 62 FI

My 62 FI car was born in October 61 before the date the NCRS Shipping Report covers but I believe today would be her 50th birthday. I have owned her for 45 of the years and she has traveled under 1,000 miles per year. Old in age and young in spirit. I wish I could say the same for her owner!

Happy Birthday to your car Jerry!

My brother's car has a 50th coming right up on November 10th.

My hope to have it back together by then was a pipe dream.

The body is temporarily back on the frame and headed back to the body shop.

Maybe by next birthday it will be ready to spread its wings again for the next 50!

Best wishes to your 62 on this milestone. My 62 was built on November 3 rd 1961 so her birthday is near. I haven't owned mine as long as you have (only 38 years) but she's also an original F.I. car that I drive as often as possible. Rich

Jack, Thanks for posting the pictures. We will go for a nice celebratory ride soon as you suggest. We recently did the southern autumn ritual of aerate/seed/water the lawn which is now muddy, and as you know we have to drive on it to get to the driveway. It is really neat to hear from other long-time owners of these cars who enjoy them as much as we do! Jerry
