    '64 Hardtop Window Replacement

I am in the process of restoring my hardtop for my '64 convertible and I am looking for some suggestion on the sealer to use to install the rear window. What to use around the window gasket where it sits in the frame and what to use around the window itself where it fits into the gasket?

I do plan on reusing my original rear window, but wanted to polish it up as best as I can. Any suggesting here?

    Thanks

    Dale,
As far as polishing goes, I have a kit from Meguires which has 3 steps and does a great job.
Remind me tomorrow and I will give it to you.

Looking at the '63-'64 Shop manual it states using 3M product numbers 3M-1170 & 3M-6699B. The 1170 around the window seal and the 6699B between the window and the seal. Are their any replacements used today in place of the old 3M product numbers 3M-1170 & 3M-6699.

I have searched the 3M web site and Googled these numbers with not matches.
