What is the correct original color of the shocks? Can you get decals for NCRS Judging?

Hey Ridge,
How about the labels and what are supposed to be printed on them?
The fan shroud labels are way off, wrong paper, adhesive, and worst, not even close to the original mid year shape - these?- Top

Yes, but, IMO, the blue is minimal. Here's another couple of shots; much depends on the lighting. I've seen some restored that are (again, IMO) excessively blue, at least for what was TFP for early '65, based on this sample of one car.

I see a lot of blue in your last photo. But as you said, everything depends on lighting. The color will look very different in strong sunlight vs. being lit by an LED flashlight in dark conditions under the car.
PS For full disclosure I should mention that I'm red-green color blind. But blues I'm good at!

Re: 1965 Corvette Shocks - Color
I recently found a early 67 set of shocks and the gray is the same, it was into the early 70's where we have many other surviving examples. A perfect match should be easy to get. If not from Quanta, your local body paint supplier can mix up a quart.
Wayne - did those 65 shocks show any evidence of a label?- Top
