    Have you ever noticed these dates?

    This is a C3 panel, for what year car? And better - date range car.

    Looks like a 68 exhaust panel, although the color doesnt look correct, but the pic. isnt very good.

      Restriction on photo size...
      the top date code is 67 and enough dots to finish out the year.

      The interesting thing about this is that you know when they started running the tool for 68 pre production and how many total months the tool was run in the 67 calendar year.

      68 the same thing. This is a real 68 part that has survived intact.

      Now the thing is this - each year, that same tool was run and modified up into the 70's, more years and more dots.

      These C3 back panels were dated so its an easy check to see if the panel date code matches the build date on the car, if the part is survivor and original to the car.
