Hi,
I am use to seeing a plastic tip on the end of the cables on the end that connects to the gauge. Has this piece always been plastic?
I am cleaning up a cable I bought at Carlisle and instead of a plastic tip it has a metal ferrule with a square shoulder. Is this the way original cables were and the plastic end is a later service replacement?
Can this cable be used with the metal ferrule inserted in to the gauge?
Thanks for the information.
Dennis
