63 Wonderbar Picture or info needed

Well I'm finally ready to install my radio. I've had 4 of them in pieces for a few years as I went thru them and picked the best one for this car. Problem is they have been apart for years and I don't remember (or have any pictures) to show where the pilot lamp wire enters the case! None of the manuals show this either.

Anyone have one on the shelf or easy access to this info I would appreciate it.

You should be able to do that, but I never have tried. The lamp socket is mounted to a long "spring" for lack of a better description. That spring with the socket at it's end (and bulb inserted) is slid in and out of the curved tube as shown in the picture in the second post. It should just pull out of the tube attached to the side of the radio. You can see the wire out the back of the assembly.

I hope I have not made it seem harder then it is. Just pull the wire and the surrounding captured washer and out it comes.
