My Corvette finally saw the light of day today. I have owned for 10 years and 1 month. Decided to take out of the shop and play with in the neighborhood. Not 100% what the neighbors thought but who cares about them. They needed a little excitement. This car is not finished by any means and even had to borrow a 69 wheel from a friend to drive it. Former owner bought in 1984 and never got to drive as it was stolen from a resto shop in NJ and stripped. Its back in the shop now until more funds become available for more parts. But at least I got to drive it Today.

3 more. Don`t crucify me. I know there are things wrong but this was bought to drive. The red alternator pully is off one of my farmall tractors. It won`t stay that color. Mike- Top

Re: After 10 years it Lives!!
Thanks Guys, I waited a long time. It was great to do something other than work on it. Gary it was a black on black car. And it was an original air car. Don`t have any idea what the original HP was but just built like I wanted it. Thanks to all for the nice comments! Mike- Top

Re: After 10 years it Lives!!
I can see it done, your getting close.
Finally someone stepped on it and smoked em.
I saw a vidio of another that was driven thru the gears and it was driven like my grandmother would drive going to church.
Nice pictures, especially the smoke off the tires.

Re: After 10 years it Lives!!
Great that you finally were able to get it out on the road and jump on it. That engine compartment looks great. Arguably, with all the restored trailer queens around, your car might garner more attention in it's present state than when you are done. Good luck the rest of the way.- Top

Re: After 10 years it Lives!!
Thanks Pete, She works like a charm! I appreciate your help and the many other members that I have gotten parts from and advice (including pictures) of the many items that it takes to put one of these together. Without the many members help it would still be in the garage. Mike- Top

Re: After 10 years it Lives!!
Thanks Paul, You may be right. I had several neighbors stop Saturday just to look at the car. Most where not aware that I had the car as it had never left the shop before. Thanks Again, Mike- Top
