what is the battery ground cable connection? my car now has it connected to the frame.should it go to the block/bell housing and then to the right motor mount?

If your car is a '65, look at sheet A7 in Section 12 of your assembly manual. You will see that it connects, along with the wiring Harness ground under the starter mounting bolt. If you don't have the assembly manual, you might want to check into purchasing one from the NCRS store. Might find some other interesting items there also.Bill Clupper #618- Top

If you do change your ground from the battery to the correct location on the starter bolt at the bellhousing, make absolutely sure you add or confirm that the others are already there, for example, the ground straps from the engine motor mount to the frame, the exhaust system to the frame, from the body birdcage to the frame at the driver's footwell, and the antenna to the frame kick up in the rear. I have a 63 and there are more than these. I believe there are fewer grounds on the later cars like yours.- Top
