    Electrical problem in my 62

When the brake is applied or when the turn signal is activated the gas gauge indicator moves. I checked the grounding on the tail lights and found no problem. I have not checked the gas tank ground. Any suggestions will be appreciated

Most common solution is to add a dedicated ground for the gas tank. This is not visible when judged and will usually solve the problem.

    Hope this helps.

Very common, as John said a dedicated ground is needed. Run a wire from one of the screws used to retain the sending unit in the tank to a clean spot on the chassis. Rich

The extra ground solderd to the sending unit looks like this. Go to raecorvettes.com and see the tech article by Joe Calcagno. He taught a class on 62s at BG a few years ago.

              John,

              I can't find www.raecorvettes.com.
              Could it be something else?
