'67 seat back hinge screws: special tool

gents, must admit to getting fed-up with these screws constantly working loose.....yes, fitted correctly with correct 'spacer washer' and even adding a few drops of Locktite.
Anyhow, after nearly giving my passenger whiplash when his inboard seat-back hinge popped out under full acceleration in the L71, I decided something had to be done.
So after pulling the passenger seal out and re-installing the hinge screw I made the "1967 Seat-Back Hinge Screw Tightening Special Tool" pictured below. This is so I can routinely tighten the screws BEFORE they pop-out - this procedure is now added to my routine maintenance schedule.
Of course, if any of you fine gents have a better (permanent) solution then I'm all ears?
    Cheers, Gary (Perth, Austaria)

wow, looks like my '67 is a super-rare 1-of-1 example as no-one else seems to have this problem......does that make it more valuable?

You may try Loctite , use the blue kind, it will hold the screw , but will come out when you want it to, Red is the more permanent type.

I may have it reversed, but you get the idea, see the labels

I used it all the time on my model helicopters, lots of vibration, so a need to secure bolts and screws

Original screws have a slot cut in the threads and plastic inserted to lock them in place.

I guess I'm unlucky.....mine stay tight without using any locktite when torqued to spec.

Rich - any idea where I can source 'original stryle screws'? The ones I've got are from LICS but don't have the slots/plastic insert.
            cheers,
            Gary.

P.S. thanks Jack, but I've tried loctite to no avail
