Does anyone have a recommendation for chrome plating vent window frames in the Detroit, Mi. area I was hoping to have it done locally.

I don't know if they're still in business, but "Fini-Finish", on the west side of Mound Road about 9-1/2 Mile in Warren may be able to handle them. They do (or did) a LOT of Meadow Brook Concours d' Elegance-level work (Duesenbergs, etc.) in the 80's and 90's, and did a lot of work for me on Cobra replicas and other non-Corvette project cars. They were NOT inexpensive, but they know how to properly repair pot-metal castings.
