    Changing Headlight Dashboard switch

Does anyone have advice as to the best way to replace a faulty dashboard light switch?

    Ira-
are you asking how to remove and replace the headlight switch? There is only one way and it is described on page 12-9 of the 63 Corvette Shop manual, and should be the same for a 67 as a 63-65.
    Disconnect battery,
pull out knob to 'on' position,
reach under dash to underside of switch and depress the knob shaft retainer button and pull out the knob with shaft.
Unscrew the switch retaining ferrule nut,
Remove bezel and switch assembly from instrument panel,
    carefully disconnect multi-plug connector,
    Reverse to install new switch.

      Don,

Yes, you are correct, I am referring to the headlight switch.

Thank you for the detailed explaination. It seems to be lot simplier that I first thought.

      Thanks again,

      Ira
