Tons of used parts for sale

I'm not in a position to respond to this, but if this Craig's List ad is on the up and up, it would be a shame for someone not to take advantage. His promise to throw it all away if not sold is ridiculous. Surely someone can take advantage? Too many much-needed parts in this warehouse to let go into the trash:

It's not my intention to endorse Craig's List. I have no experience with it at all, and please let's not make this thread all about the vagaries of Craig's List. That's not the point.

I'm only bringing it to everyone's attention in case it's legit. If legit, we can't let this much Corvette stuff disappear into the landfill (not that he'd really do that, but this is what he said he'd do).

If it's not legit, my apologies to all. I just couldn't stand the thought of losing all these parts. I'm learning that when it comes to finding parts, awareness is everything. Can't buy 'em if you're not aware of 'em.

That's how it hit me too. If it's legit, OMG. Talk about parts. So if anyone has an interest in lots (as in groups) of parts, it is well worth checking into, I would think. Wouldn't be that hard to verify legitimacy.

You would think he would have contacted a large dealer and sold all the parts as a unit.

I can think of several that would likely snap the entire warehouse up. Maybe he's thinking he'll get more in lots versus as a whole. Or it's a scam. Hope not, however...someone needs this stuff. That's usually me.

Looks like a nice collection, but times are very tough right now. Money is short for most people. That warehouse full of parts is nice, but it is a long term investment with a lot of blood, sweat, and tears involved. Plus the short time to remove all that.

I am going to look at several warehouses full of salvage cars and parts tomorrow. Trying to figure out how to maximize the owners return if we get to sell them.

Word is this was Corvette Center in Ft La Fla whose owner passed about a year ago. Someone was going to move this to Canada until they got the shipping bill???

Sounds right, The woman Ispoke to was in Canada and said the contact person would be going down shortly.

I could use a few more nuts and bolts...........That is one big warehouse full of parts. Bring down 3 semi's and 500.00???

Well to tell you the truth if I passed away unexpectedly my wife wouldn't know what any of the parts are worth in my basement and garage. It would be 1.00 and take it away and that is the truth. She even told me so. So now I am letting a lot of duplicate or triplicate parts go now. Anyways let us know what you find.
