soft top for a '56

I'm installing a new soft top on a '56. Does any one know if I can replace the mohair rear bow weatherstrip with a rubber weatherstrip used on a '59? Will it fit? The '59's staple on in the same manner as the '56 do. This will not be a NCRS judged car. Thanks for any help. Sam

You could, but I dont know why anyone would want to. The rubber on those is difficult to install, difficult to keep on there, and marks the paint.
