    67 rear license light clips

I am going through my list of corrections to be made after judging and I found a beautiful original rear license plate light. After removing the old one, I cannot reattach the new one. The old one was attached with nuts, is that correct or should there be clips that hold the screws in place. Thanks in advance.

      Steve,

UPC 12-C6 shows three screws going up through the license lamp assembly, but only shows the attachment hardware for the screw with the ground wire (i.e., star washer, flat washer and nut). Since no other clips or attaching hardware is called out for the other two screws, the same star washer/flat washer/nut seems to be implied for all three screws. FWIW, the license lamp assembly hardware kit sold by the vendors includes three of each part.
