C2 head lamp harness connectors

Recently came across two different color connectors for the front RH connector for the tail lamp circuit that connects in the fender skirt. This one shown in black and also a medium blue.

Are there different colors for different years???

no all black thats paint overspray.

On this one, and another harness they are this blue color. The black in the photo is the stray paint. Could this be a service part? These were available for many many years from GM...

When magnified there is paint overspray on not only the connector, it's all over the harness.
Looks like it could (the blue) be scraped off with a razor blade. And when your at it, clean up the rest of the harness.
Looks like a couple of points deduction to me.

Thanks guys - the point is I have two harnesses on the floor, one has this connector in blue and one black. I'm thinking the blue one was a 1975 service part, or, possibly 1967??? In particular since the last model was 67 and that version usually carried into the service part system.
