Please help me ID this Radiator Cap

I removed this off of a 1971 Corvette, but I know it's not correct for the car. It looks like a vintage cap, perhaps even a Corvette application.

Jerod, it looks like a Delco replacement cap, Patrick H. is a expert on the C3 caps. maybe he will chime in.

Just a AC Delco service replacement for an RC-15. Not used on a 71 Corvette here is a photo of an original style cap.

If the service cap seal is still in good condition that would be the cap I would use when not showing the car for driving. The one in your photo. The spring for pressure release is much better then the reproduction caps plus it is less likely to grow legs.
