    Mid year

I would like to know the name and manufacture of the sealant that is used in the weatherstrip that attaches to the bottom of the top across the rear of t he top. I am replacing the weatherstrip ping and upon the removal of the old weatherstripping there was a material in the old one about the color of peanut butter but still pliable. It may have changed color but everyone I talk to tries to sell me a product that will harden after it cures and the material that was in mine is still soft without a dry or tacky appearance on the surface.

Thanks in advance for your help! Tom Runck (48776)
