      Matt:

Exactly what are you looking for??

NAPA and a few others still have many parts for our old cars. If you want Corvette specific parts, ordering on-line can have them at your house in a few days....UPS and Fedex are fairly quick. LICS in New York usually ships the same day as your order. That's how many of us do it.

Sometimes even our members living close to your location may have the part you need and can provide it.

Again, what specifically are you looking for or need for your car??

        Sorry Gary, still learning.

        Larry, thanks for the advice.

I live in Australia and I'm currently in the US on holidays. I have just purchased a 67 coupe, which I'm shipping out of San Francisco back to Australia.

The car needs quite a few items which I'm trying to purchase and put in the container with the car. The easiest way I can do this is to physcally take the parts to the car so the lot can be consolidated in the one shippment.

Some of the parts I'm looking for,

Power steering conversion kit for a BB (brackets, pulleys, hoses, pump, cyl etc)
        Exhast- Side mount (quite version)
        Head Lining Red
        Interior Qtr's Red
        Delux Seat Back Red
        Leather Seat Covers Red
        Foam Seat Bolsters
        Center Arm Rest Leather Red
        Door Lock Mech
        Bumper Bars (all of)
        Shielded Plug Wires
        RH Side Mirror

        and a few other items.

        Thanks
        Matt

          Matt:

How much longer are you planning to be in the US?? If a few days or a week, this is probably not long enough to get the things you need.

If you are planning to be here for another month or so, I would order the needed parts and have then shipped in. You must have someone nearby that can help with a shipping address. Perhaps a California NCRS chapter member. Most folks use Al Knoch interior parts....which are usually excellent quality. Al is in west Texas, but shipping to the West Coast should not take longer than a week.

Are you looking for NCRS correct parts, or just nice parts for a driver car?? One thought, Corvette Mike has a shop located near Orange/Irvine. Probably a few hours drive. He may have what you need. http://corvettemike.com/

The only West Coast Parts seller I know of is Corvette Pacifica, in Atascadero CA, about 215 miles south of San Francisco.

                In San Jose:

Corvette Clinic, located in San Jose, Ca, is the most comprehensive 1956 - 2010 Corvette parts and accessories store.
