Please help me ID this part

Can someone please help me identify the part in the attached picture?

Follow on: Once it's identified, could someone please direct me to an available replacement part?

PS- As most of you know I received the car in boxes. Having never taken it apart or seen it put together, sometimes it presents a challenge.

Looks like a window glass channel run. Check Paragon, or Corvette Central for replacement.

Don't feel bad Jerod, got my first mid year in boxes as well. Didn't see it taken apart which would have been beneficial with the identification of the parts.

Speak with Kyle or Kevin at Keen Parts regarding your needs.

It look like the door glass rear channel of a mid year.

Thanks guys. This is a 1971. I'm still not entirely sure that I've located the part. I think it *might* be a part near the base of the side window, near the outer window seal and chrome. It's roughly 3 feet long.

It's definitely a front or rear glass run channel insert, but if it's three feet long it's not from a Corvette.

I agree, looks just like a rear window channel run.

                  Jerod,

Your part is a front channel run for the side glass however if your car is a '71 it wouldn't have used this part. The internals for '68 and up differ somewhat from the mid year door internals. Who's to say this part even came from a Corvette? The bead that runs vertically suggests that it is the front run and not the rear.
