I have just had my 96 judged at a chapter meet and I'm looking for original PF-52 oil filters.I guess that original ones were black in color. Also, the original headlights were a Wagner brand 2B1 with a plastic lens, could use some of them too!!Any help would be appreciated!!Thanks in advance!!Nick B

Re: Original Oil Filter
I believe somewhere in the archives is information saying that the oil filters were painted black so dealers could determine whether the original factory filter had been changed. You probably won't find one available anywhere. What you need to do is find one like the factory configuration and paint it black.- Top

Re: Original Oil Filter
Gentlemen, George's original oil filter is locked up in the family vault in Indian Mills, NJ. It has been utilized twice in Top Flight Judging.
Attached is a photo of the oil filter. George provided the history of this oil filter and Don Griffin also provided some background as to the change over from the PF 51's to the PF 52's. This information has been provided to the National Judges for the 1994-96.
