For those members who live in Region VII - Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Missouri, Arkansas and Louisiana, or
Region VIII - Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Alaska, British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan, or
Region IX - California, Hawaii, Arizona and Nevada
Elections for Regional Director are now open and online for those who wish to take advantage of the ease of voting online. The online voting option will be available until the election closes, at end of day on October 31, 2011.
You must log in to the voting page (https://www.forums.ncrs.org/register/vote.php?) with your Technical Discussion Board credentials. You will be directed based on your State of residence to the proper Region's ballot.
Of course, you can also vote by regular mail, following the instructions and using the ballot in the latest Driveline issue. If you vote this way, your paper ballot must be postmarked no later than October 31, 2011 in order to be counted.
You can obviously vote only one time and a log of your vote will be recorded. If you vote online and also send in a paper ballot from the Driveline, only the online ballot will be counted.
As the NCRS Secretary, only I have access to the ballots, either paper or online, so your vote is held in strictest confidence. I will tally the votes after the election closes on October 31, 2011 and the results will be published as soon as practical.
Thanks to all you in Regions VII, VIII, and IX for voting in your Regional 2011 elections.
