Replacement Wiper Arms

I am considering buying some replacement wiper arms from Paragon or Corvette Central. Has anybody had any experience with the reproductions? Quality acceptable?

My car currently has replacement arms, the passenger side arm sits too high, interferes with the wiper door. The geometry of the arm looks different than the originals. Only way it comes close is to set it up so that the passenger side parks below the driver's side.

Tom Keen of Keen Parts, makes reproductions of 1970-1972 Corvette windshield wiper arms. Just a guess on my part, but the other vendors may be selling his product -- I don't know. I have had a chance to look at Tom's product, and it is pretty good.

Lyle Chamberlain, a member here, will sell you refurbished originals and they are beautiful. I've bought several sets from him.

If you want to add the NOS rubber inserts, well, a member here by the name of Pete Lindahl has those. I've bought several sets from him and they are beautiful as well.

I'll keep Tom in mind. Never heard of Keen parts. Took a look at his catalog. Looks like a wide selection.

The other vendor I've looked at noted the wiper arms are 'imports'. From all I've been reading, makes a bit nervous unless someone can vouch for the parts.

I bought a set of restored wiper arms from Al (sticks_it4105qhtc@members.ebay.com), and they're also beautiful. If you visit his eBay store, he talks about the Top Flights he's restored and the cars that have used his arms. I've not had my car judged yet, but I can say these arms are quite something. Wish all the parts I'm finding looked as nice. Al is a NCRS member and does this as a hobby...

I had the same problem with the replacement wiper arms from Paragon/Keen parts. I from original ones at Carlisle. Send me a PM I think I have a spare if you are interested.
