1979 Rear Exhaust Heat Shield

Hello All,

I have see in a 68-82 Restoration Book that Under the Differential is Mounted a Exhaust Heat Shield.
Is this Shield Mounted on all 79s or just with L82s Engines ???

Who can Help me Please.

The shield was used on all 1979 Corvettes regardless of engine or transmission option. It was GM #473041 but it was discontinued without supercession in November, 1988.
