I am now ready to connect all the new wiring harnesses together and the engine compartment wiring to the fuse box in my '63 Coupe . Is it okay to spray the connections with white lithium grease to prevent any moisture problems or do I have to buy & use a "die electric grease"? Thanks for all replies.

I'd use a dielectric grease - you don't want anything in there that's the least bit conductive. GM (Packard Electric) filled those connectors with dielectric grease, but that didn't start until 1969 or so.- Top

Di-electric grease is designed for that purpose. White lithium is not. I'd use the di-electric grease on all the plug connections including the bulb sockets.- Top
