I'm preparing my early '64 roadster (Sept. '63) for judging at Kissimmee, January 2012.
I have the 5th edition of the '63-'64 Judging Guide which leaves me with a question about the wheel covers. On page 70 it states that wheel cover dishes "are polished stainless steel with the inner portion of the outer lip frosted". However, the accompanying photo of the early cover shows the frosting extending from the outer lip to the outer end of the radial rectangular slots.
I also have a photo of a wheel cover with this extended frosting but at 2011 Kissimmee I saw several with frosting on the outer lip only.
Can anyone with an early '64 and successful judging experience set me straight?
As always, thanks for your interest and help
