Hello All,
In the past I had one of those Wirthco knife style battery disconnect switches for my '66, but the screws on the bottom of the non-conduction plastic piece (See photo) that connects the two ends of the knife switch together would ground out on the steel surround of the top of my battery retainer making the switch useless.
I can always put something to insulate the switch to the battery retainer, BUT I'm curious if anyone else had this issue?
Does anyone have the knife style switch from LGB Industries (Savety Switch) that advertises in the Driveline - I'd like to know if it's the same Wirthco switch or another make. Maybe one is better than the other. Opinions?
I really like the knife stlye better than the knob one.
