    Powerglide Vacuum Modulator

    Will try this question one more time.
    What is the problem when oil is found in the outboard side (hose side) of the vacuum modulator?

    Bad diaphragm?

    The oil was black and the ATF that I drained was clean and light red.

    Can engine oil makes its way from the engine to the modulator?
