There's only one of you guys that mentioned your children.

The future is OUR children, where are your boys at in all this? Playing with wii playstation of out in the garage with you??? Only have girls? OK they can still be involved.

Mine are about half way to the legal age to drive and pick out every ZR1 or C4 or any other Corvette running down the road each and every day. They like the ZR1 because it beats everything else on the street

Well some young guys are still into vettes, my son couldn't care less about numbers other then 1/4 mile times. He builds and drives his 75 vette as it was meant to be driven-hard. He probably has learned more about building boxes, arms, and diffs then many rebuilders at this point. Now he wants a Z06 to build even stronger!

It has to do with a change in our culture. Young people no longer want an American made sports car at any price. End of story -- oh, and there is nothing we are going to do to change that.

        Just enjoy the ride.
if there was no judging there would be no restamping and counterfeiting of dates and parts, anytime there is money to be made the worst in people show up. look how many crooks that would be out of business if no judging and used corvettes would be a lot cheaper to buy. JMHO

Years ago you could pay admission and park your vette free at the show; that all has changed over the years and that's OK, but now that it cost $14.00 plus $10.00 to park each day I have decided to Attend for 1 day rather than 2. $48.00 to attend for 2 days just seems a little over the top to me. Just my 2 cents.

Gary, You are spot on, speed I am speed, quoted from CARS, is the ZR1 faster than McQueen?

In these cases we are talking circle tracks.
