65 Reproduction Grille Judging Point Loss?

What would be the typical judging point loss for a 1965 reproduction grille? I am weighing the point loss against cost of restoration of the original grille.

    Thanks,

    James West

    Hi James,
I lost none on mine but that was at the Chapter level.

Hi James. I agree with Don. I haven't heard of a deduct being given for one of the new repro 65 grilles.

Hi Tony -- do the repo's have the very small "D&L" stamping on the driver side outer (also outboard edge) surround ? Or more importantly, do the judges even look for it ?

Hi Wayne. How are things up your way? I've never had any issues whatsoever with any aspect of the repro '65 grilles. Those aluminum horizontal slats are so fragile on the originals that I've always had to replace them.
