    The I.D of the counterbore is 0.36" (on the end closest to the speedo fitting)
    diameter of seal is 0.375" (3/8")

    The GM seal will not fit into the counterbore.

    I will install the new driven gear and install the bullet with new exterior o-ring and see what happens.

    If you are considering that the seal OD is 3/8" due to my previous post, understand that's just my ESTIMATE of the seal's OD. It could be smaller or larger than that.
