The Other Woman

I wanted to post this morning to say happy birthday to my lovely mistress. My '72 convertible is 40 years old today and looks (at least to me) as good as ever. Oh yeah, she runs great too.

I "met" her 6 years ago and fell instantly in love. My wife knows all about her and is not bothered by my other relationship, in fact, the girls are good together.

A little detail: 1972 SB convertible Mille Miglia Red/Blk/White / 4 speed / PS /PB / AM FM / Tilt/Tele / Top Flight (2007 chapter, 2009 chapter, 2011 national). Frame off restoration in 1991-1992. Refresh was done by me from 2005 to present (it's NEVER done.)

Anyway, I promised her I'd wish her a public birthday greeting on this milestone.

Hummm. Only a day after my birthday. Wish mine was only my 40th (instead of 72nd). That reminds me about my old 63 had a birthday too back on 9 July, but I was too busy to recognize it as have you for your girl. Actually, I've never thought of my car in the female gender frame as it is far too tuff and mean. But then again, it's traits are similar, i.e.; hard to steer, hard to stop, it's noisy, and has a lot of pleasant smells.

I think that certain women are even more attractive at 40 than they were when younger.
