    66 L-72 Alternator Brace Upper

Anyone know if either of the two parts is an original 66 427 BB alternator upper bracket?

The lower brace has a diamond "P" with a small "R" stamp. It may be powder coated, and is made from .850" wide steel bar.

The upper brace is wider..for an even 1" width, and has no markings.

    Thanks
    Glenn

The diamond with the large P and small R is the symbol Paragon Reproductions usually stamps or casts on their reproduction part.

I don't know about the other one.

Both braces appear to be about the same except for the "PR" stamping. The brace at the top APPEARS to be a 3882812 brace. I had a NOS 3882812 brace but sold it several years ago.
