    Brake caliper not releasing

    I have a 69 427 that the right front brake caliper will not release pressure. I originally thought the caliper was rusty and sticking, so I replaced the caliper. Replacing the caliper did not fix the issue. The other three calipers seem to function properly. Anyone know what could cause this issue.

      hose is coming apart inside and acting as a check valve

          The rubber hose to the caliper fails internally and acts as a check valve to hold pressure in the caliper. Replace both front brake hoses. The other one is likely to fail also. You might want to consider replacing the rears as well. Nothing lasts forever.
