Midyear window crank nylon spacer woes
Anyone else notice that all the repo nylon spacer/bearings for the window crank handles are about 1/8" in diameter too small. I was excited to see that Paragon has some nylon ones now that are close to the correct color but they are also too small in diameter. The smaller diameter makes the spacer run rough on the crank handle because it sits inside the rim a bit. Really irritating, why not just make the darn things the original diameter. The only thing I can think of is that they may be correct for some years they are advertised for. I have a 64 and maybe the 64 crank handles were larger at the base. I guess I need some NOS but hard to find.

Jeff,
GM used the same crank spacer on numerous GM vehicles. I've no trouble finding them at self service junk yards (Pull A Part here) finding them on GM cars of that era. Found them at swaps as well.
How many are you needing. Light grayish?

Yeah, I guess good used ones are the next best thing to NOS. I just need four so send me a PM if you have some extra in light grey.Comment
