Two Rivet Distributor Top Shield

Did the two metal rivet top shield begin to be used for late 1963's, all 1964's, and early 1965's? What VIN's have been confirmed for use of
the two metal rivet shield when first and last used?

John Amgwert did a nice article for Corvette Restorer titled "1963-67 Corvette 327 Engine Radio Ignition Shielding Wire Shields & Routing Supports" From that article it would be expected that the 3 metal rivets disappeared sometime in late 63. The 3819729 was the first 63 design with three, then came 3833333 in March 63 (I think) with 3 still.
The ECR 54384 on 3/20/63 called for 2 plastic rivets however the metal still showed up through MY64 but then only two.
