69 rear suspension hangtime

Is it okay to leave my 69 rear suspension (body off) hanging for a few weeks while the frame is on jack stands? I torqued the T-arms, strut rods,half shafts, shocks all at ride height, After the rear spring and link bolts were installed and the suspension is left hanging, it seams like it would deform the strut rod bushings. any commets would be welcome

here is a recent thread from CF on the topic. John Z (Mr. Hinckley) chimed in with his opinion, as did many others. Consensus seemed to be no serious harm is done.
