    Determine value of OEM parts?

I have a small stockpile of OEM Corvette parts that my Dad collected over the years for 'trading stock,' much of it has been sitting around since the 1970's. Now that I'm getting ready to start restoring his '69 it's times to sell them.

Is there a good resource to determine approximate value for various parts?

Some of the major items I have are:
    1958 Trunk Irons
Valve covers - cast-finned sets both with low script and high script.
A couple of sets of late 50's early 60's hubcaps
And a small pile of other parts.

I know I didn't give enough detail above for someone to determine their value, I'm mainly trying to find how people determine what to sell parts for. I would like to get a fair price out of the parts to help support the restoration of the 69.

    Thanks!

    John,

The parts are only worth as much as what someone is willing to pay for them.
You could start by doing some of your own homework. Check on Ebay or check the Driveline to see what similar parts are selling for but prices will always vary depending on a lot of different factors.

I have started looking at the Driveline and Ebay. Ebay seems to vary widely, and it seems most Driveline adds don't mention a price for items like these. I guess it comes down to that I would like to place an add in Driveline, but I need to have a good feeling of where to start the price negotiations.

        Thanks
