    Is the correct finish for a 70 alt fan zinc?

    Got to be zinc or cad. Just not sure which one. Also how about the ash tray. Zinc or flash chrome.

      The alternator fan was zinc plated. It's very hard, though, to differentiate between zinc and cadmium as far as visual appearance goes.

      The ash tray is flash chrome.
