Tony,
Try John Herold at 304-725-3535. He's in Charlestown WV so depending on where you are in Maryland, he may not be to far away.
He has a small shop, been doing Corvette body and paint for 35 years. He will work with you to get what you want. He's doing my 1960 now.

Zane Finney of Finney's Auto Body in Hancock, Md 301 678 6994
Do an archives search on his name. You'll find other comments concerning his work. I don't know what you consider reasonable, so I'd say call him and see what you think.- Top

I have seen quite a bit of Zane's work. I think the does all of Dr. McCagh's work. Doc Q has received several Duntov's over the years and all of them have been painted by ZaneDick Whittington- Top

Re: Seeking body / paint repair references
I found a painter/body man that was very reasonable through the local NCRS chapter. I would start there. The guy I used has since moved to Florida or I would recommend him.
Reasonable is a very subjective term.
If you are looking to have the paint flight judged check the archives and make sure you know what you can live with on the paint and body work. There is a big difference between show and driver quality work. Paint that can pass NCRS flight judging with modern materials seems to be an art unto itself.
